The Ross County Planning and Development Department is under the authority of the Board of Commissioners providing a variety of services to the people of Ross County. The department is responsible for land use planning and development activities in unincorporated areas of Ross County. We coordinate the activities of the Ross County Planning Commission including subdivision and non-subdivision development review; provide technical and planning assistance to our townships and villages; grant administration; community development; and floodplain management.
