Credit Card Payment

Pay your Ross County real estate and manufactured home tax with American Express, MasterCard, Discover or VISA. The processor charges a fee equal to 3% of each transaction amount or $1 minimum.

Credit card payments may be made online, by telephone or in person at the Treasurer’s office. Transactions completed by midnight on the due date are timely and will not be charged a penalty.

FEE FOR USE
A fee is charged for this service by the processor, Official Payments Corporation. This fee is not charged by the Ross County Treasurer's office and Ross County receives no portion of this fee. The credit card service provider charges the fee based on the amount of the transaction. A separate transaction is required for each parcel or account you wish to pay. To pay your Ross County taxes over the Internet, click the pay button:

To pay by phone, call the toll free number 1-800-2PAY-TAX (800-272-9829). When asked, you will need to enter the Jurisdiction Code 4538.

You will need the following information to complete a payment:
• The type of tax
• A parcel or account number (depending on the type of tax)
• Your credit card information
• The amount of the tax payment

The system will:
• Tell you the total of your payment including the appropriate fee
• Obtain approval of the charge
• Issue an onscreen confirmation number and a printable digital receipt. Confirmation is emailed to users who request it. For phone payments, you will be given a confirmation number. Please write down and retain this number. The charge will also appear on your credit card statement: the tax amount on one line, the convenience fee amount on a separate line.

This service is safe and reliable. The Ross County Treasurer's office has selected Official Payments Corporation as the credit card service provider for Ross County Taxpayers. Official Payments Corporation is the same service used by the Federal Government and the State of Ohio to process credit card payments.
